On March 14, 2026, P/R MG Jahan Martin assumed command from P/R MG Chloe Lemos at the National Convention (NATCON) 2026 Closing Dinner. Prior to this role, P/R MG Martin served as the 8th/12th Regimental Commander and has brought members of his command team to serve alongside him on the national staff. His team includes Deputy Cole Hamilton, former S3 and S1, as well as Issac Deng, former Deputy Regimental Commander, who will serve as G6.
P/R MG Martin has outlined key priorities for the organization moving forward. Company Commanders are directed to focus on recruiting, mentorship, fundraising, and community involvement. Regimental Commanders (RCOs) are expected to prioritize communication, expansion, and the execution of regimental events.
At the national level, the staff will concentrate on several major initiatives, including a large-scale recruiting and expansion effort, the development of society-wide events, a comprehensive overhaul of Public Affairs, and the implementation of a new alumni database. This database will connect newly commissioned and soon-to-be-commissioned Pershing Riflemen with experienced mentors, providing valuable support as they begin their professional careers.
The National Society of Pershing Rifles welcomes P/R MG Jahan Martin, P/R BG Cole Hamilton, and P/R COL Daniel Eckstein to the team, and we look forward to seeing the implementation of these objectives.
