Pershing Rifles Sergeant Major Christopher Gunter pledged to Pershing Rifles Company C-4 in Clemson University in the spring of 2006. From there he rose to the rank of Master Sergeant, filling various roles to include the company’s S-1 and S-4 shops. From there, P/R SGM Gunter filled the administrative role for NATCON 2009. Additionally, he has performed in the John Joseph Pershing Memorial Drill Competition twice, in 2008 and 2009.
